Resident Evil: Extinction: Failure of the Hive to contain the Umbrella Corporation's most deadly viral creation has led to an outbreak of apocalyptic proportions. Now the streets of Raccoon City swarm with the living dead, compelling Umbrella to deploy another of its bioweapons, a hulking prototype soldier code-named NEMESIS that kills anything in its path. Jill Valentine of the RCPD and several others are determined to get out of Raccoon alive, but only if they can escape the city's hordes of undead, Umbrella's unleashed creatures, and the relentless pursuit of Nemesis itself. Their one chance is with one of the only survivors of the Hive -- a young woman named Alice, who learns a terrifying secret behind her connection to Umbrella.

Resident Evil the movie wzs based on the very popular video game, starring Milla Jovovich. A team of commandos are on a mission to penetrate "the hive," a vast underground genetics laboratory operated by the powerful Umbrella Corporation. Operated by the "Red Queen" an artificial intelligence program - Super Computer - which has shut the place down. A deadly virus has been unleashed, killing the lab's personnel and resurrecting them as the mindless undead creatures with a taste for human flesh. The team has just three hours to shut down the lab's supercomputer and close the facility before the virus threatens to overrun Racoon city and then the world.
