  The night has fallen and Elm Street is asleep a badly burnt figure stands arms outstretched to either side as if to embrace the minds which are busy dreaming within their beds inside the houses that line both sides of the street. One, two, Freddy's coming for you! The film that started it all, Wes Craven's "A Nightmare on Elm Street" the beginning, where the horror began for the children of Elm Street as they struggled to never sleep again in absolute fear that if they did they would be killed in their dreams. The Film Starred Robert Englund in the now Iconic role of Freddy Krueger. It was the first major film role for Johnny Depp but as we all know not his last. but the horror didn't stop there, not by a long bloody shot, many films fallowed and slashed their way into pop culture and guess what? A New Nightmare Is Coming! Blood dripping from the vein says that there is to be an as of yet Untitled Nightmare on Elm Street Prequel to haunt our dreams in 2008!
